Neovenator.com is my gallery and photo blog. Based in the San Francisco East Bay Area, I spent four years working at a local professional camera shop, where I learned from some of the best in the business. My photos are almost always local, and you can find out where they were taken by looking at the keywords in my gallery.

      When I was an art student, I learned about a photographer who would shoot and develop his film and then lock the negatives away for a year before looking at them again. I like this philosophy. It allows for the sentimentality of the moment to fade, thus making it easier for the artist to objectively pick out the best images. I have made this philosophy my own, with some minor tweaks. One year is the maximum amount of time I will wait before looking at most photos, and two months is the minimum. Sometimes I share images quickly, for the sake of timing or need. When I post images in my blog, 95% of the time they are from the previous year.

      Graphic Design is something I do for work and pleasure. You can see some of my simpler designs in my CafePress store. I post new designs to my store and blog when possible. Sometimes I add photos to my store, but this is rare. If you would like me to add a particular photo to my store, please let me know with a comment in the blog.
