I Love To Singa, About The Moona And The Juna And The Springa

If you follow me anywhere on the internet it is likely you will find me talking about Rock Band from time to time. I know it's probably annoying to those of you with no interest in the game, but you've gotta understand: that game is the most fun I've had in... a very long time. I can sing and drum pretty well now, and at night I dream of singing in a real band. Music is such a central part of my being that Rock Band became a natural expression of something that had been bottled up my whole life. I sometimes wonder how things might have been different if I'd had something like this when I was a kid and needed the confidence boost that RB gives me now. Maybe I would have auditioned for the theater company in high school and not had the mountain of regrets I have now.

Saw this somewhere near the Castro district. It made me laugh. Such a dapper brick.

Luna. You know her well. This is one of the sharpest photos I've taken of her.

Tomorrow: a fire and a Clue. Also: oh damn, almost out of 2008 photos! Five days left.

My mantra is "Don't look back . . . you aren't going that way!" I am thrilled that you are so happy with RB. I love watching you drum and hope I hear you sing a bit soon. Just look forward to your RB Beatles party and all the friends you have who can't wait to join you in that celebration.

This is such an awesome picture of the moon -- It should be on the cover of a Nova special DVD or something! Really enjoying 2008 -- can't believe it will be over so soon.
